He emphasized that some people may hide the true number of livestock and poultry, not understanding the real purpose of the census.
In his opinion, this is due to the misconception that the census results could lead to a reduction in social benefits or the introduction of additional taxes.
“Don’t worry, the agricultural census will not affect your social benefits,” the minister noted.
This study is extremely important for obtaining current data on livestock numbers in the country. This information is necessary to ensure timely vaccination of animals and planning of veterinary activities, as well as to ensure an adequate supply of vaccines.
According to the information, the livestock census will begin in the republic on March 20. It takes place once every ten years and covers the entire country. It is important to note that the last census was conducted 22 years ago.
The data collection will provide accurate information on the following indicators:
- the number and structure of agricultural enterprises and farms of various forms of ownership;
- the diversity and volumes of agricultural production;
- the availability of land, labor, and material resources;
- the number of livestock and poultry;
- the specifics of farming practices and the level of mechanization.
