
The Audit Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic has completed an audit of the budget execution for 2024 at the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration, as well as its subdivisions. This information was announced by the department.
The audit covered the period from January 1 to December 31, 2024, and aimed to assess compliance with legislation in the expenditure of budgetary funds, as well as the state of financial discipline and accuracy of accounting.
As a result of the audit, financial violations and deficiencies were identified totaling 36 million 560.3 thousand soms. Of this amount, 11 million 225.4 thousand soms were related to errors in accounting.
During the audit process, some violations were rectified, and 2 million 12.4 thousand soms were recovered.
The audit revealed instances of non-compliance with accounting procedures, violations of requirements for the accounting of fixed assets, as well as cases of failure to reflect certain material values in the accounting balance.
Additionally, violations were recorded in the process of assigning and paying state benefits, as well as ineffective use of budgetary funds.
During the audit, changes were made to the accounting records to correct the identified deficiencies.
Following the audit, recommendations were sent to the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration for addressing the identified violations, improving financial discipline, and enhancing the efficiency of budget resource utilization.
