
The main importers are Russia, Japan, and China
Kyrgyzstan is actively exporting peas, pumpkin, and plums to international markets, as reported by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
According to the ministry's information, the following shipments were made in 2025:
- 40 tons of lentil seeds to Russia;
- 1500 tons of "Lagenaria" pumpkin seeds to Japan;
- the first batch of dried plums weighing 23 tons to China;
Additionally, corn of the hybrid variety "Oktabrskaya 70" was sent to Uzbekistan for testing.
The agency emphasized that it intends to continue implementing projects aimed at increasing export volumes and developing international cooperation. These initiatives are considered key to supporting local production and strengthening the country's food security.
