Participants included Erlis Akunbekov, Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, and Amankan Kenzhebaev, the Presidential Representative in the Osh Region.
The meeting focused primarily on preparations for spring fieldwork in the region. Participants also discussed the results of the work of the district agricultural development administrations of Aravan and Nookat for the year 2025.
According to the Aravan District Agricultural Development Administration, it is planned to sow more than 22,000 hectares of agricultural crops in 2026, including wheat, potatoes, vegetables, barley, corn, melons, tobacco, cotton, and rice.
The Ministry also reported that under the "Agricultural Financing - 13" project, by the end of 2025, 208 citizens in the Aravan District received preferential loans totaling 163.8 million soms.
Kenzhebaev emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with farmers, implementing drip irrigation technologies, and developing breeding livestock. He added that it is necessary to monitor the targeted use of the issued loans.
As a result of the meeting, participants were given specific instructions to ensure the quality and timely conduct of spring fieldwork.
