- In 2026, the Kyrgyz Republic will define the main directions of its activities within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, focusing on agro-industrial cooperation and the logistics corridor Osh — Bender-Abbas. This was stated on the air of the radio station by Danil Ibraev, president of the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and member of the Presidium of the Business Council of the EAEU Danil Ibraev.

According to Ibraev, the top priority will be to support the agro-industrial sector, which will allow agricultural producers to obtain financial resources for the establishment of joint productions.

The development of logistics connections also occupies an important place in his plans.

“Our goal is to make the Osh — Bender-Abbas corridor part of the Eurasian Economic Union,” he noted.
“We want people who choose a career in construction or other fields, both in the country and abroad, to acquire the necessary skills and be able to work legally,” he added.

He also emphasized that the preparation of a trade agreement between the EAEU and India is nearing completion, and its signing is expected in the near future.

The idea of the Bender-Abbas — Osh transport corridor was proposed in 2021 to strengthen trade and logistics ties between Kyrgyzstan and Iran. This route passes through Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, providing Kyrgyz entrepreneurs with direct access to the Iranian port of Bender-Abbas and international maritime transport. The port of Bender-Abbas, the largest in Iran, handles about 90% of the country's container cargo and has an annual cargo turnover of approximately 25 million tons.
