Government support for new entrepreneurs has become available
As part of the government program to support new entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan, it is possible to obtain a preferential loan of up to 1 million soms. This information was announced by Nurbek Umetaliev, head of the entrepreneurship development department of the business environment policy management at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, on the air of "Birinchi Radio".
According to him, the initiative became possible thanks to the government's decision to launch the corresponding project, which is planned for the period from 2026 to 2030.
“Support for startups in various areas is planned, with about 20 in total. For one project, it is possible to receive a loan of up to 1 million soms for a period of up to 18 months, including a grace period of up to six months. After this period, entrepreneurs will start repaying the interest,” added Nurbek Umetaliev.
He also noted that four commercial banks are already participating in the program, providing loans.
