According to him, the program covers about 20 areas of entrepreneurial activity, and for the implementation of one project, it is possible to receive up to 1 million soms for a period of up to 18 months. The grace period is up to six months, after which entrepreneurs begin to pay interest on the loan, Umetaliev noted.
In addition, he reported that four commercial banks have already started providing loans under this program.
Nurbek Umetaliev also reminded that in 2025, another project to support startups was approved, which is being implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, where loans are issued at an interest rate of 8 percent without a grace period.
