- A new state program has been implemented in Kyrgyzstan, offering preferential lending for breeding livestock. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

According to the provided information, the interest rate on loans is 3% per year.

This program aims to support agricultural producers, breeding farms, and farms included in a special list approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. Individual entrepreneurs engaged in the import of breeding livestock and providing artificial insemination services can also receive loans.

Preferential financing is available for the following areas:


The program supports the following breeds of cattle: Alatau, Hereford, Holstein, Simmental, Ayrshire, Brown Swiss, and Galloway.

The ministry emphasized that this program is aimed at supporting domestic livestock breeders, improving herd productivity, increasing the genetic potential of agricultural animals, and strengthening the country's food security.
