
In Kyrgyzstan, "Eldik Bank," in collaboration with the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, has launched a new preferential lending program for breeding livestock. This initiative stands out with a record low interest rate of 3% per annum (EPR 3.04%), making it particularly attractive for representatives of the agricultural sector.
The main goal of the program is to significantly improve the genetic potential of animals and strengthen the country's food security. Financing is available for agricultural producers, breeding farms, individual entrepreneurs, and livestock importers included in the relevant lists approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. Additionally, special attention will be given to insemination technicians, for whom special limits are provided.
Loans can be used for purchasing breeding livestock of such breeds as Alatau, Hereford, Holstein, Simmental, and others. Financing is also available for modernizing agricultural facilities, constructing new livestock complexes, and implementing modern animal care technologies.
The main conditions of the lending program are:
Maximum loan amount: up to 20,000,000 soms (for insemination technicians - up to 2,000,000 soms);Loan term: up to 60 months (5 years);Grace period: 6 months;Unsecured limit: up to 500,000 soms;Additional support: in case of insufficient collateral, it is possible to obtain a guarantee from the JSC "Guarantee Fund."
