Currently, there are 40 fully operational trade and logistics centers in Kyrgyzstan. According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, these facilities are either located at processing enterprises or operate as independent units, facilitating the export of products. The republic has 483 medium and large processing enterprises, which creates a foundation for the development of logistics infrastructure.
According to plans, the growth rate of the sector is expected to increase. In 2026, the opening of 75 new processing enterprises is anticipated, among which 8 will be trade and logistics centers. The development strategy until 2030 includes the construction of an additional 40 logistics facilities across the country. The ministry emphasizes that such centers are essential for the rational management of export-import flows and for the reliable storage and distribution of agricultural products.
The process of creating modern logistics centers encompasses a complete cycle, starting from the development of business models and the construction of high-tech warehouses to the implementation of IT systems and digital services. Automation of processes, transition to electronic document management, and training of employees under the KPI system will be important stages of this process. In the future, there are plans to expand the range of services at the new sites by introducing solutions in the field of e-commerce and blockchain technologies, which will improve interaction with transport companies and government institutions.
