These logistics facilities are equipped with warehouse spaces and specialized zones for the storage and freezing of products and raw materials. They also conduct packaging, labeling, certification, and transportation of agricultural products on their premises.
According to the ministry, plans for 2026 include the construction of an additional 75 processing enterprises, among which there will be 8 new trade and logistics centers.
As per the development strategy until 2030, the construction of another 40 trade and logistics centers across the country is planned.
The agency emphasizes that such centers are necessary for optimizing export-import flows, as well as for the storage, processing, and distribution of agricultural products.
The process of creating a trade and logistics center typically involves several key stages. First, the project's objectives are defined, a location is chosen, and a business model is developed. Then, a site and infrastructure plan is drawn up, and the necessary construction permits are obtained.
During the construction phase, warehouses and administrative buildings are erected, modern equipment and information systems are installed. After that, the processes of receiving, storing, and shipping goods are optimized, and electronic document management and digital services for clients are implemented.
Key aspects also include the selection and training of personnel, the introduction of motivational mechanisms, and a system of key performance indicators (KPI). Cooperation with transport companies and retail chains is established, and interaction with government institutions is strengthened.
New logistics centers undergo test operation, after which their effectiveness is assessed. In the future, it is planned to expand the range of services and implement innovative technologies, including process automation, e-commerce, and blockchain solutions.
