At the fair in the Naryn region, meat was sold cheaper than the market price
Recently, a significant fair took place in the Naryn region, organized with the aim of offering residents quality food products at prices lower than market rates. The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that within the framework of this event, beef and lamb were sold at prices ranging from 650 to 670 soms per kilogram. This initiative is aimed at supporting local residents and stabilizing food prices in the region.

The participants of the fair included local farmers, livestock breeders, and processing enterprises, which provided them the opportunity to sell their products directly to consumers. The exclusion of intermediaries made the products more affordable and created favorable conditions for both producers and consumers. This format of operation contributes to saturating the market with fresh goods and restraining the rise in prices for essential food products.
