From February 17 to 19, seminars dedicated to modern approaches in livestock farming for local farmers were held in the Kara-Suu, Nookat, and Kara-Kulja districts of the Osh region. The organizers were the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Pastures in collaboration with the KOPIA center, supported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The aim of these events was to improve the functioning of the agro-industrial sector through the introduction of modern technologies. The program included both theoretical lectures and practical sessions, where participants studied the scientific principles of diet formulation and methods of balanced feeding. Special attention was paid to the quality of feed, as it is a key aspect affecting animal productivity.
A significant portion of the seminars was dedicated to the topic of artificial insemination and its importance for enhancing the genetic potential of livestock. Participants were introduced to modern biotechnologies that can significantly increase the competitiveness of farms and contribute to the sustainable development of livestock farming in the southern part of the country.
These initiatives aim to create a strong link between scientific research and practical production. Experts emphasize that updating the knowledge of rural entrepreneurs is an important step towards bringing the region's livestock farming to a new technological level.
