Specialists of the Research Institute of Animal Husbandry Trained in Modern Feeding Methods for Agricultural Animals
{lang_tg}On January 13 and 14, 2026, a seminar was held at the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Pastures, where specialists gained knowledge about modern methods of feeding agricultural animals. This information was announced by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This event was part of a grant project implemented by the KOICA International Cooperation Agency.
The main goal of the seminar was to increase animal productivity through the implementation of scientifically justified feeding systems, effective feed utilization, and the development of practical skills among participants.
The training also emphasized deepening the professional knowledge of staff in the area of feed quality assessment using laboratory and calculation methods.
The seminar's training modules included the following topics:
- determination of the chemical composition and nutritional value of feeds for cattle;
- scientific foundations for balancing rations in terms of protein, energy, vitamins, and minerals;
- methods for assessing the digestibility of feeds and effective feeding;
- processing and analysis of analytical data using feeding software and statistical methods.
