In Kyrgyzstan, they propose to create a network of modern warehouses for storing vegetables and fruits
According to Torobaev, the implementation of this project will significantly reduce crop losses that farmers face due to the lack of specialized storage facilities. The creation of new warehouses will help preserve the harvest and open new opportunities for product processing, as well as access to international markets.
“The Ministry is ready to provide full support to farmers, agribusinesses, and processors during the construction of storage facilities. Building such facilities in accordance with international standards is a strategic step that will enhance the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex and strengthen the country's food security,” noted Bakyt Torobaev.
The program is aimed at comprehensive support for the agricultural sector and the creation of new jobs.
The implementation of the project will be carried out within the framework of public-private partnerships with the involvement of investors.
The Ministry will ensure full support for all stages—from design and construction to operation and certification of the warehouses. Additionally, ministry specialists will offer consulting services on inventory management and the organization of logistics processes. This project is aimed at maximizing farmers' incomes and minimizing their financial losses, according to the ministry.
