According to the new document, a six-month ban is being introduced on the export of the following categories:
- used catalysts;
- slags, ashes, and other waste containing metals suitable exclusively for recycling;
- residues of palladium, rhodium, and platinum formed during the processing of catalysts;
- elements of exhaust systems (mufflers, pipes) if they contain catalysts.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are required to notify the World Trade Organization, the Eurasian Economic Commission, and the Executive Committee of the CIS about the introduction of this ban within three days.
Previously, on September 8, 2025, a similar resolution was adopted, which has now lost its validity.
The new ban will come into effect in a week.
