According to him, this volume of water allowed for the irrigation of 676.67 thousand hectares of agricultural land. In particular, 26.07 thousand hectares were irrigated for spring crops, while the area for second crops amounted to 52.694 thousand hectares.
Omuraliyev also emphasized that mass irrigation work began in the first decade of May. On May 3, a request was made for the withdrawal of 69.05 m³/s of water from the Chu River, but in fact, 56.06 m³/s was provided.
Starting from April 30, water was released from the Orto-Tokoy Reservoir, initially at a rate of 38 m³/s. The discharge volume then increased: on May 5 to 50 m³/s, on May 7 to 72 m³/s, on May 12 to 88 m³/s, and finally on June 3 to 100 m³/s.
According to the department's information, by May 2025, the volumes of supply and actual water supply exceeded the figures for the same period in 2024 by 147–154%.
