According to experts, by increasing the share of high-yield breeding livestock, the load on pastures can be reduced by up to 5%, - Ministry of Agriculture
Experts claim that by increasing the share of highly productive breeding livestock, the load on pastures can be reduced by up to 5%.
“This means that keeping a smaller number of more productive livestock, both for meat and dairy purposes, is more advantageous from both an economic and ecological perspective,” added Kerimaliev.
As part of these efforts, high-quality breeding seeds, such as Aberdeen Angus, Simmental, and Swedish breeds, have been imported into the country. Farmers receive seed material through veterinary and technical services, as well as consultations within the framework of the breeding livestock development program.
The Deputy Minister also noted that after the completion of the autumn season, analyses of the growth and productivity of the new breeds will be conducted, which will allow for the assessment of the effectiveness of the implemented project.
