In his speech, Akim Mukhtar Sherbaev stated that his management career includes work in the banking system, international organizations, and mining companies. According to the akim, the knowledge he has accumulated has already yielded concrete results in the previous stages of his activities. “I mention this experience not just for the sake of it. We managed to increase the budget of the aiyl okmotu, which was only 2 million soms, to 90 million soms. As a result, the aiyl okmotu was awarded the nomination of 'Best Aiyl Okmotu' in the republic,” the district head reported.
The akim also cited his work in the Jalal-Abad region as an example. As the first deputy akim of the Ala-Buka district, he oversaw issues related to freeing aiyl aimaks from dependence on state subsidies.
Two aiyl okmotus exited from subsidies, and local infrastructure was significantly improved. To date, there are no subsidized aiyl okmotus left in the Ala-Buka district.
The district head emphasized that these facts are not bragging, but a “proven practical experience” that will be applied for the prosperity of the At-Bashinsky district. “The At-Bashinsky district has always been one of the leading ones in the country. We will not only maintain this pace but will also apply all our knowledge and efforts to proudly carry the banner of the best district in the republic and ensure its socio-economic growth,” said the akim.
