He noted that if only two countries participate in the project, it cannot be considered cooperative.
Ashymbekov also outlined the main requirements for the contributions of countries to the project.
According to him, the technological supply must account for at least 10%, and engineering services must be no less than 5%. He added that several companies can be represented from one country.
Both small and medium enterprises can participate in cooperative projects; however, the share of foreign investments must not exceed 50%.
He identified mechanical engineering and heavy industry as priority areas for cooperation, and the possibility of including the agro-industrial complex in the list of priorities is also being considered.
Ashymbekov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan has a number of advantages, including the availability of raw materials, labor force, relatively low tax rates, and state support measures for localizing production.
