A significant program for updating the machinery and tractor fleet, initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture, has been completed in Kyrgyzstan. Since the start of leasing projects in 2011, agricultural producers have received 9,725 units of special equipment. Investments in technical equipment amounted to 27.7 billion soms, of which 81.4 million soms were allocated for the first deliveries in 2026.
Currently, there are seven leasing directions operating in the country, organized through "Aiyl Bank" and "Eldik Bank." The terms of the proposed programs are considered among the most favorable in the region: farmers can arrange leasing for various types of agricultural machinery and processing equipment at a rate of 6% per annum for a period of up to 7 years. This allows them to carry out fieldwork in a timely manner and improve product quality without significant financial burden.
The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry emphasizes that re-equipment is a key priority. Supporting producers through preferential leasing not only strengthens the technical base of farms but also lays the foundation for the sustainable development of the entire agricultural sector of the country.
