In Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry is actively working to improve the machinery and tractor fleet for farmers, providing them with the opportunity to upgrade their equipment.
Since 2011, thanks to the initiatives of the ministry and the support of the cabinet of ministers, a number of leasing projects have been implemented. These programs are carried out through OJSC "Aiyl Bank" and "Eldik Bank," and currently include 7 projects.
As part of these initiatives, farmers can lease agricultural machinery and equipment for the processing industry for a period of up to 7 years at a fixed interest rate of 6% per annum on favorable terms for them.
To date, with government assistance, farmers have been provided with 9,863 units of equipment, totaling 27.9 billion soms. In 2025, 2,853 units of equipment were allocated for these purposes, amounting to 9.8 billion soms.
These actions contribute to improving the quality and timeliness of mechanized services, which in turn promotes the development of agriculture in the country.
