The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, summarized the results of two significant projects related to logistics. One of the main outcomes was the implementation of radical changes in the digitalization of the permit issuance system for road transport to the People's Republic of China.
Previously, obtaining the necessary documents involved a lengthy process associated with bureaucratic red tape and the need for personal visits to the Ministry of Transport, which could take up to a day. However, with the introduction of the e-Permit software and its integration with the "Tündük" platform, carriers can now submit applications and make payments online through electronic wallets. This innovation has reduced the time required to obtain permits to 10 minutes, which is especially important given the current volume of 130,000 documents per year.
Additionally, a long-standing issue of transport control at the EAEU borders has been resolved. Due to a lack of data exchange between countries, Kyrgyz entrepreneurs often wasted time in queues, providing documents in paper format. In just 100 days, the relevant authorities managed to integrate their information systems, automate processes, and implement an electronic permit issuance system for cabotage transport. These measures have significantly simplified border crossings for domestic logistics companies and eliminated administrative barriers.
