This will increase budget revenues by more than 500 million soms.
Starting from 2026, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic is implementing the e-Permit electronic platform, designed for international freight transport, particularly with China. As part of this project, local carriers will also be able to use electronic permits when working with Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, as reported by the ministry's press service.
An important achievement of the implementation of the e-Permit system has been the significant simplification of the process of exchanging permit documents. Carriers can now receive and send forms via the internet, avoiding the need for personal presence and spending time in queues, which, in turn, speeds up the service delivery process.
Previously, all permits were issued in paper form. In 2025, about 130,000 paper forms were issued with China, the costs of preparation and delivery of which fell on the budget.
“The implementation of e-Permit aims to increase transparency, reduce corruption risks, and promote the development of international road transport. This project also helps to reduce government expenses and strengthens Kyrgyzstan's position as a logistics hub in Central Asia,” the press release notes.
According to forecasts, in 2026, thanks to the new electronic system, more than 500 million soms will be received in the state budget.
