The export during the specified years doubled, while imports increased by approximately 1.5 times. In 2024, the share of EAEU countries in the structure of Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade exceeded 30%, while in exports it accounted for about 40%. The final data for 2024 shows that the volume of mutual trade with the union reached 5.5 billion dollars, which is 20% more compared to 2023.
In particular, exports to EAEU countries amounted to 1.7 billion dollars, increasing by 20%, while imports reached 3.8 billion dollars, corresponding to a growth of 15%.
In the first 11 months of 2025, the volume of mutual trade with the EAEU amounted to about 4.9 billion dollars, which is 1.3% more than in the same period last year. Exports exceeded 1 billion dollars, while imports amounted to 3.9 billion dollars, increasing by 17.7%.
Turdukhojeva noted that Kyrgyzstan mainly exports dairy products, fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, clothing and accessories, as well as glass products and other consumer goods to EAEU countries. Imports include petroleum products, raw materials, and intermediate goods necessary for production, which are either absent in the republic or limited.
