The National Bank presented collectible coins and banknotes at the World Money Fair in Berlin
World Money Fair is the largest international exhibition dedicated to numismatics, bringing together under one roof coin manufacturers, mints, national banks, technical specialists, collectors, and dealers. Each year, about 300 exhibitors from more than 50 countries participate in the event.
The main goal of the NBKR's participation was to present and promote the history and culture of Kyrgyzstan through the lens of its national currency.
As part of its exhibition, the National Bank showcased banknotes and collectible coins that reflect the historical and cultural heritage of the country. Among the displayed series were "Historical Events," "Era of the Kyrgyz Kaganate," "Monuments of History and Architecture of Kyrgyzstan," "Kyrgyz Customs and Rituals," "National Musical Instruments," "National Sports and Folk Games," "World Nomad Games," as well as the "Red Book of Kyrgyzstan."
In total, more than 30 different exhibits were presented at the exhibition, including banknotes and coins of the national currency. According to the National Bank, the collectible coins and banknotes attracted significant interest from both numismatists and professionals, as well as the general public who attended the event.
