

From January 26 to February 1, 2026, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan participated in the prestigious World Money Fair held in Berlin, Germany, according to information from the regulator.
The World Money Fair is considered the largest coin exhibition in the world, bringing together coin manufacturers, mints, national banks, technical specialists, dealers, and numismatists from various countries under one roof. Each year, around 300 exhibitors from more than 50 countries participate in the event.
The main goal of the National Bank's participation was to present and promote the culture and history of Kyrgyzstan through the lens of its national currency.
The exhibition prepared by the National Bank included banknotes and collectible coins that illustrated the historical and cultural heritage of the country. In particular, the following series were presented:
- "Historical Events";
- "The Era of the Kyrgyz Khaganate";
- "Monuments of History and Architecture of Kyrgyzstan";
- "Kyrgyz Customs and Traditions";
- "National Musical Instruments";
- "National Sports and Folk Games";
- "World Nomad Games";
- "Red Book of Kyrgyzstan".
According to the National Bank, Kyrgyz collectible coins and banknotes attracted significant interest among collectors, professional experts, and visitors interested in unique products.
