The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission has given the green light to the implementation of a financial support mechanism for joint cooperative initiatives in the agro-industrial complex (AIC), funded from the budget of the Eurasian Economic Union. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It is noteworthy that previously such a form of support was only applied in the industrial sector. The expansion of this mechanism to the agro-industrial complex will create additional opportunities for the development of cooperation among the EAEU member countries.
This initiative aims to stimulate import substitution processes, improve the processing of agricultural products, and enhance the export potential of the EAEU member countries, including Kyrgyzstan.
Financial support for cooperative projects will contribute to strengthening production chains in the AIC, increasing the level of interstate cooperation, and creating competitive products with high added value.
