In response to his question, the Deputy Director of the State Mortgage Company, Nurlan Kudaykulov, reported that the price per square meter is 900 dollars.
At the same time, Azygaliev noted that private construction companies offer apartments at a price of 600 dollars per square meter, not taking into account the costs of acquiring the land for construction.
“Why do your apartments cost more if the land is provided for free?” the deputy clarified.
Kudaykulov pointed out that the housing from GIK comes with complete renovation. To this, Azygaliev replied that the cost of renovation does not exceed 50-100 dollars per square meter.
First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev promised to provide a detailed calculation of the costs for housing construction under the GIK program.
