At an extraordinary shareholders' meeting held on February 2, OJSC "Aiyl Bank" received approval to change its official name to OJSC "ABank." This decision was made unanimously.

According to the bank, after completing all necessary legislative procedures for re-registration with government authorities, the institution will begin operating under the new name.
The bank also noted that the name change will not affect existing obligations to clients and partners. All current contracts, accounts, and services will remain unchanged.

"Aiyl Bank" is considered one of the leading state banks in Kyrgyzstan. Its history dates back to OJSC "Kyrgyz Agricultural Financial Corporation" (KAFС), established in 1996 to support the agricultural sector, with the support of the World Bank.

As a result of the reform, on December 27, 2006, the corporation was transformed into OJSC "Aiyl Bank."
