- Kyrgyzstan, in cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Commission and representatives of Russian state authorities, has approved a new scheme for the supply of goods through electronic trading platforms to Russia. This was announced on February 3 at a press conference by the head of the EAEU Coordination Department of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanybek uulu Elimbek.

Elimbek noted that this initiative was launched in December due to difficulties encountered in supplying goods through electronic platforms in Russia. Over the past month and a half, the Kyrgyz side has actively engaged with the Eurasian Economic Commission and Russian authorities, as well as with business participants, organizing about six joint meetings.

“We managed to reach mutual understanding and approve changes to the supply model through electronic trading platforms. We received approval from the authorized bodies of the Russian Federation, including the Federal Tax Service and the Federal Customs Service, as well as from the Wildberries platform,” Kanybek uulu Elimbek said.

He also added that workshops and explanatory events for business representatives will be organized in the near future.

“We made minor changes to the accompanying documents for goods, and at the workshops, we will demonstrate to entrepreneurs how to properly fill them out. It is expected that after the workshops, the supply of goods through electronic platforms will begin shortly,” emphasized the head of the department.
