The National Bank fined one of the commercial banks in Kyrgyzstan 268,000 soms

According to information provided by the National Bank, a fine was imposed on the bank for non-compliance with mandatory reserves that were to be maintained from December 29, 2025, to January 25, 2026. Typically, the financial regulator does not disclose the name of the financial institution that has been sanctioned.

Additionally, from January 31 to February 7, 2026, the license of the exchange office "Obmensiti" LLC, located on Moskovskaya Street in Bishkek, was suspended. Similar measures were taken against "Avat Finance" LLC, whose license was suspended from January 31 to February 14, 2026, and is located at 182 Abdrahmanov Street in the capital.

The National Bank noted that these measures are aimed at ensuring compliance with the legislation and regulatory acts in force in the country.
