The introduction of a goods traceability system within the EAEU is scheduled for September 1, 2026. This decision was made at a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission Council, where the list of goods included in this program was approved.

According to the new regulations, products such as household refrigerators and freezers (12 codes of the EAEU HS), washing machines (both household and commercial, 6 codes of the EAEU HS), as well as television communication equipment, including devices for recording and reproducing sound and images (16 codes of the EAEU HS), will be under constant monitoring.

Bakyt Sultanov, Minister of Economy and Financial Policy of the EEC, noted that this system will significantly improve the fight against gray goods and enhance the economic security of the entire union.

According to him, "we are starting with the main categories of household appliances and plan to expand this list to create a more civilized and predictable market for our countries."
