This system will come into effect on September 1, 2026.
The list of goods for traceability includes:
- “household refrigerators and freezers” (12 codes of the EAEU Customs Tariff),
- “washing machines, both for domestic use and for laundries, including spin-drying devices” (6 codes of the EAEU Customs Tariff),

“This initiative will provide consumers with confidence in the quality and safety of the purchased goods. The system will become an effective tool in the fight against gray products and will help strengthen the economic security of the entire Union,” noted Bakhyt Sultanov, Minister for Economy and Financial Policy of the EEC.
“We are starting with key categories of household appliances and plan to expand this list to make our market more civilized and predictable,” he added.
