“Currently, we are working on defining the list of goods. However, specific items cannot be announced yet, as they may change before final approval,” he added.
Also, Aigul Mambetova, head of the methodological work department for the EAEU at the State Tax Service, reported that within the framework of mutual trade, key categories of goods have already been identified, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, as well as goods subject to sanctions.
According to her, the process of forming the list will be carried out in stages. Each member state of the Eurasian Economic Union independently determines the goods for which it considers the application of navigation seals necessary, after which these proposals are discussed in the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The decision on this matter is made only with unanimous support from all member countries of the union.
