In 2025, revenues from fishing licenses exceeded 13.5 million soms
According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, by the end of 2025, the amount received from the sale of fishing tickets and cards amounted to 13,573,419 soms. This is a significant increase compared to 2024, when revenues totaled only 3,146,149 soms.
The increase in income is associated with the introduction of an online ticket sales system, which has greatly simplified the process of purchasing them.
In 2025, the Department of Fisheries established limits on recreational and amateur fishing in water bodies of fishery significance. These limits were agreed upon with the laboratory of ichthyology and hydrobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
To more effectively organize fishing activities, agreements have been made with various public associations and limited liability companies.
Fishing enthusiasts in Kyrgyzstan can now purchase tickets and pay for them online. To do this, they need to visit the official website agro.gov.kg in the "Services" section → "Buy Fishing Ticket" or use the direct link to the "Fishing Ticket" page — https://rb.agro.gov.kg/, where they can scan the ELQR code.
Payment is available through any mobile banking application or electronic wallet.
After successful payment, the electronic ticket will be sent to the email address provided during registration and will be valid throughout the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
