According to information provided by the Ministry of Water Management, Agriculture, and Food Processing Industry, in 2025, revenues from the sale of fishing tickets and cards amounted to over 13 million 573 thousand soms. This is significantly more than in 2024, when the amount was 3 million 146 thousand 149 soms. Such impressive growth has been achieved thanks to the implementation of an online ticket sales system for fishermen.

According to the department, last year the Fishery Department approved limits for sport and amateur fishing in the water bodies of the republic. These limits were agreed upon with the Ichthyology and Hydrobiology Laboratory of the Biological Institute of the National Academy of Sciences.

To enhance the efficiency of fishing organization, agreements have been made with public associations and limited liability companies.

Athletes and fishing enthusiasts can now conveniently purchase fishing tickets online. To do this, you need to visit the official website agro.gov.kg and go to the "Services" section → "Buy Fishing Ticket" or use the direct link to the "Fishing Ticket" page — https://rb.agro.gov.kg/. An ELQR code is available on the site, which needs to be scanned. The ticket can be paid for through any mobile banking application or electronic wallet.

After successful payment, the electronic ticket will be sent to the email address provided by the user during registration and will be valid throughout the country.

The introduction of this system has significantly simplified the process of obtaining fishing tickets, making it accessible for citizens in all regions, and has also contributed to a reduction in the use of paper documentation.

In the future, further development of electronic services and strengthening control over compliance with fish catch limits is planned, which will help preserve biological diversity and ensure the sustainable use of natural resources.
