At this event, the opportunity for Kyrgyz entrepreneurs to gain direct access to the Chinese trading network China Co-op was announced.
Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, the "Kyrgyz Export" Center under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as participants from agribusiness and export-oriented companies took part in the discussion.
As explained by the organizers, Kyrgyzstan will become part of the mechanism that NACOFEC has developed in cooperation with the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC).
In particular, producers of organic products from Kyrgyzstan will be invited to participate in the "Central Asia Organic Products Shelf" project, which will provide access to the China Co-op network, covering 341,000 retail outlets across China.
NACOFEC President Kazybek Shaikh emphasized the importance of uniting producers into cooperative chains and creating a "green corridor" — from the certification process to deliveries to store shelves.
As a result of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between NACOFEC and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
