Among the participants of the event were representatives of the chamber, the Center for Development and Promotion of Exports "Kyrgyz Export" under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, as well as entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan.
One of the main outcomes of the meeting was the announcement of the implementation in Kyrgyzstan of mechanisms that have already proven effective within the framework of NACOFEC's cooperation with the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC). This opens up opportunities for Kyrgyz producers of organic products to place their goods on specialized shelves of a network covering 341 thousand retail outlets across China.
The Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Avazbek Kerimbaev, emphasized: "The Chinese market is becoming increasingly attractive, and Kyrgyzstan has every chance to occupy its niche. Colleagues from Kazakhstan, who have vast experience in exporting to China, are ready to share their knowledge and assist in establishing laboratories on our territory. We are on the brink of significant changes: establishing supplies to China will be a powerful stimulus for the growth of the country's economy."
The President of NACOFEC, Kazybek Shaikh, pointed out the importance of regional integration, noting: "We brought to Kyrgyzstan a proven export technology. Our experience in Kazakhstan confirmed that uniting small and medium producers into powerful export chains is the only way to succeed in such a vast market as China. Our products have unique ecological characteristics, and our task is to create a 'green corridor' from certification to the shelf in China Co-op. This is the first, but important step towards creating a unified organic brand for Central Asia."
During the presentation, a practical algorithm was presented, which is now also available in Kyrgyzstan:
● Direct access to China Co-op: participation in the project "Shelf of Organic Products of Central Asia."
● Acceleration and training: assistance in adapting packaging, certification, and compliance with strict standards of China.
● Financial sustainability: signing of off-take contracts ensuring guaranteed sales of products.
● Technological transfer: the possibility of implementing small industrialization technologies (in collaboration with Indian partners) for deep processing of raw materials directly in Kyrgyzstan.
● A new stage of cooperation.
The visit of NACOFEC to Bishkek opens a new chapter in trade relations between Kyrgyzstan and China. Meeting participants emphasized that utilizing proven Kazakh practices will help Kyrgyz businesses avoid many mistakes when entering the Chinese market and significantly accelerate the path from production to product realization.
The event concluded with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between NACOFEC and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan, aimed at supporting producers and goods from our country in international markets, as well as developing cooperative, production, marketing, and financial infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan.
