The World Bank Described Kyrgyzstan's Economic Growth Indicators as Impressive

A recent meeting between Adylbek Kasymaliev, the head of the government of Kyrgyzstan, and Najy Benhassine, the regional director of the World Bank for Central Asia, became an important event for further cooperation.
During the meeting, current issues of bilateral relations were discussed, including the implementation of key projects, budget support, and necessary legislative reforms.

Kasymaliev expressed gratitude to the World Bank for its contribution to socio-economic reforms in the country, emphasizing that Kyrgyzstan values the trust from this international financial institution. He also noted the readiness for an open dialogue to implement best practices in public financial management.

The discussion of plans for the current year and the medium-term perspective became one of the central points of the meeting.

For his part, Najy Benhassine noted the successes of the cabinet of ministers and characterized Kyrgyzstan's economic indicators as "very impressive" against the backdrop of regional development.

He highly appreciated the efforts to improve fiscal policy and emphasized that the ongoing reforms contribute to creating a positive economic environment in the country.

“Creating new jobs and improving the well-being of citizens is the foundation of sustainable growth. The World Bank is ready to provide full support in areas of mutual interest,” added Benhassine.
