At a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on agrarian policy, water resources, subsoil use, ecology, and environmental protection, Myktybek Kalandarov, a representative of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, reported on the problems faced by farmers in the process of artificial insemination of animals.
He added that the ministry has intensified its efforts in this area, and currently, there are 302 points operating in the country that are engaged in artificial insemination.
Deputy Alisher Kozyuev inquired about the state of pastures in the republic.
This question was answered by Deputy Minister Zhanibek Kerimaliev, emphasizing that the situation with pastures is unsatisfactory.
“In one region, a pilot project was launched, within which nano humates were sown on the pastures. If the results are positive, we plan to use two types. Previously, funds were collected for pastures, but these collections have now been stopped. The funds should be directed exclusively towards the development of pastures. All pasture committees were supposed to be transferred to the ayil okmotu, but I cannot provide exact figures. They were supposed to fully transition to the GP. However, support from the state is present. Due to the negligence of local pasture committees, not all areas were sown,” he added.
