According to the provided data, the total consumption amounted to 19.3 billion kilowatt-hours. At the same time, electricity production totaled 15.4 billion kilowatt-hours, distributed as follows:
- large hydropower plants — 12.9 billion;
- small hydropower plants — 0.223 billion;
- mini-hydropower plants and facilities based on renewable sources, including solar and wind stations — 0.234 billion;
- thermal power plants — 2.01 billion.
In addition, last year Kyrgyzstan imported 3.8 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity from other countries.
