The National Bank has updated the official exchange rates for the som as of January 23, 2026.
According to information provided by the regulator, the current exchange rates are as follows:
- 1 US dollar — 87.4500 som (unchanged);
- 1 euro — 102.2203 som (decrease);
- 1 Russian ruble — 1.1409 som (increase);
- 1 Kazakh tenge — 0.1728 som (slight increase);
- 1 Chinese yuan — 12.5593 som (slight increase).
Compared to the previous day, the dollar rate remained stable, while the euro showed a decrease, and the ruble, tenge, and yuan strengthened.
In commercial banks, the average buying rate for the US dollar is 87.36 som, while the selling rate is 87.79 som.
As for the Russian ruble, its average buying rate in banks is 1.14 som, and the selling rate is 1.16 som.
