The ruble and tenge have noticeably depreciated, the dollar is getting more expensive. Exchange rates as of January 13.

As of January 13 of this year, official currency rates show interesting changes. While the US dollar and Chinese yuan have become more expensive, the euro, Russian ruble, and Kazakh tenge, on the contrary, have become cheaper. This data is provided by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, as well as exchange points in Bishkek.
US Dollar Rate:
- The official rate set by the NB KR is 87.45 soms, which is 0.01 percent higher than the previous value.
- In exchange offices, the average rate: buying — 87.34 soms, selling — 87.8 soms.
Euro Rate:
- According to the NB KR, the official euro rate is 102.2072 soms, which is 0.3 percent lower than before.
- The average rate in exchange offices: buying — 101.44 soms, selling — 102.42 soms.
Russian Ruble Rate:
- The official ruble rate according to the NB KR is 1.0885 soms, which means a decline of 1.19 percent.
- In exchange offices, the average rate: buying — 1.089 soms, selling — 1.13 soms.
Kazakh Tenge Rate:
- The official tenge rate is at 0.1716 soms, which is 0.87 percent lower.
- In exchange offices, the average rate: buying — 0.1544 soms, selling — 0.1806 soms.
Chinese Yuan Rate:
- The official yuan rate is 12.541 soms, which is 0.21 percent higher. This currency continues to show growth, following last year's trend.
- The average rate in exchange offices: buying — 12.7 soms, selling — 13.2 soms.
