The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan reported stable growth in the banking sector across key indicators.
As of November 30, 2025, there are 21 commercial banks and 306 of their branches operating in the country.
Since the beginning of the current year, bank assets have increased by 44.9%, amounting to 1 trillion 181.8 billion soms.
The loan portfolio grew by 43.6%, reaching 489.3 billion soms.
A particularly noticeable increase is observed in the field of Islamic financing, where the volume of funds provided according to Islamic principles rose by 100.8%, totaling 18.1 billion soms.
Deposits also showed positive dynamics — they increased by 38.8%, amounting to 822.4 billion soms.
These positive changes in key indicators indicate the expansion of banking operations, growing trust from the population and businesses, as well as an activation of lending in the country's economy.
