A working meeting was held at the State Tax Service dedicated to issues related to cashless payments in business.
During the meeting, participants included the deputies of the chairman of the STS, Azat Almanbetov and Kubanychbek Isabekov, as well as representatives from various organizations, including the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, the Interbank Processing Center, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, and the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal of this event was to develop joint solutions aimed at eliminating the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs and consumers, as well as ensuring the reliable operation of cashless instruments and creating equal conditions for doing business.
During the discussion, aspects of using cashless payments, including QR codes and electronic wallets, were considered. Participants focused on the real problems faced by entrepreneurs when accepting cashless payments, as well as issues of convenience, transparency, and security of such transactions.
Additionally, attention was given to the complexities arising from the transition to payment systems registered for individual entrepreneurs and legal entities. Participants noted that resolving these issues falls within the competence of banks and relevant organizations.
Questions regarding improving the speed of fund transfers, optimizing tariffs, simplifying administrative procedures for opening accounts and electronic wallets, as well as other technical aspects affecting the activities of entrepreneurs were also discussed.
All attendees expressed their readiness for constructive cooperation and joint development of solutions aimed at the development of cashless payments, taking into account the interests of businesses and citizens.
The STS intends to continue its work on creating conditions conducive to entrepreneurial activity, developing modern payment infrastructure, and supporting a transparent economy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
