Issues of Cashless Payments Discussed at the GNS
At the event organized by the press service of the State Tax Service, the deputies of the chairman of the service, Azat Almanbetov and Kubanychbek Isabekov, as well as representatives from the National Bank, the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, the Interbank Processing Center, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, and the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan gathered.
The main goal of the meeting was to develop joint solutions that would help alleviate the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs and consumers, improve the operation of cashless payment instruments, and create transparent conditions for doing business.
During the discussion, the focus was on the use of cashless payments, including QR codes and electronic wallets. Participants also addressed practical issues that entrepreneurs encounter when accepting such payments, as well as aspects of convenience and security in transactions.
Challenges faced by individual entrepreneurs and legal entities when transitioning to new payment instruments were also discussed. Participants noted that the resolution of these issues falls within the competence of banks and relevant organizations.
Attention was also given to issues related to speeding up the crediting of funds, optimizing tariffs, reducing administrative barriers when opening accounts and electronic wallets, as well as other technical aspects affecting business processes.
All participants of the meeting expressed their readiness for constructive cooperation and joint work on solutions aimed at developing the cashless payment system, taking into account the interests of businesses and citizens.
The State Tax Service will continue its work to create comfortable conditions for business, develop modern payment infrastructure, and strengthen transparency in the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
