Kyrgyzstan Studies the "VetIS" System of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Digitalization of Veterinary Control

A meeting took place in Moscow, where representatives of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed issues with the leadership of the Rosselkhoznadzor, as reported by the Veterinary Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Kyrgyz delegation was headed by Asel Kenenbaeva, who holds the position of Deputy Minister, while the Russian side was represented by Konstantin Savenkov, Deputy Head of Rosselkhoznadzor.

The key topic of discussion was an introduction to the information systems used by Rosselkhoznadzor for veterinary and phytosanitary control. The Kyrgyz delegation expressed interest in implementing electronic processing of veterinary and phytosanitary certificates, as well as in the functioning of the federal state information system "VetIS".

During the visit, veterinary specialists from Kyrgyzstan plan to visit the FGBU "VNIIZZh" in Vladimir, where they will be shown the operation of the FGIS "VetIS" and related systems. Phytosanitary experts will familiarize themselves with the practices of digital document processing at the FGBU "VGNKI" in Bykovo.

The knowledge and experience gained will be used to improve the veterinary and phytosanitary control system in Kyrgyzstan, as stated in the report.
