Kyrgyzstan Studies Russian Experience in Digitalization of Phytosanitary and Veterinary Control

- A meeting took place in Moscow where Asel Kenenbaeva, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, discussed cooperation in the field of veterinary and phytosanitary control with Konstantin Savenkov, Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor.

The main focus of the meeting was on the information systems used by Rosselkhoznadzor to ensure control in these areas.

This visit was organized with the intention of familiarizing with the Russian experience in the digitalization of state control, which also contributes to strengthening bilateral relations and interaction between the relevant agencies of the two countries.

Special attention was given to the federal state information system "VetIS" and the practices of electronic registration of veterinary and phytosanitary certificates.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Kyrgyz specialists intend to study the experience of using electronic documents in the field of phytosanitary control and the creation of a unified information environment for veterinary control.
