The most significant contribution to this achievement came from the Chui region, where 12,844.8 tons of fish were produced.

The main part of the production is rainbow trout, which was cultivated in the amount of 17,132.05 tons. Carp accounted for 813.2 tons, while other fish species made up 1,563.6 tons.
The steady growth observed last year confirms the successful development of aquaculture and the expansion of fish farming throughout Kyrgyzstan, the agency emphasizes.
- In addition, digital platforms and information systems related to fish farming have been implemented in Kyrgyzstan. Currently, the information system "Electronic Fishing Ticket" is actively used. An automated information system "Unified Electronic Register of Fishery Water Bodies and Fishery Entities" is also operational, allowing entrepreneurs to receive state-paid services in electronic format.
Additionally, an "Information System for Traceability of Fish and Fish Products" is being developed, aimed at ensuring compliance with veterinary and sanitary requirements in aquaculture and enhancing the export potential of fish products produced in the republic.
